Role Overview

VKB Engineering Services in Modimolle is looking for a dedicated Artisan Assistant to support Electricians and Maintenance Technicians with daily maintenance tasks, repairs, and general engineering duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about electrical and mechanical work and eager to grow in the engineering environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF 4

• Solid mechanical and electrical experience

• Strong troubleshooting ability

• A valid trade certificate will be an advantage

• Practical technical knowledge and hands-on skill

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with basic electrical tasks according to job orders and supervisor instructions.

• Use electrical hand tools such as grinders, drills, and test meters.

• Clean cables, components, and equipment as part of routine maintenance.

• Always follow health and safety regulations when completing tasks and worksheets.

• Maintain a neat, high-quality standard of work at all times.

• Be willing to undergo training and development toward future qualification.
