Key Responsibilities
Electrical Support
- Assist with temporary generator installations during load shedding
- Support cable management, grounding, and electrical connections
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- Work under supervision to complete electrical tasks efficiently
Site Build Assistance
- Participate in site construction and setup activities
- Perform general manual labour tasks as required
- Assist with installation of temporary infrastructure and equipment
- Support maintenance and operational tasks on-site
Equipment Maintenance
- Assist in routine inspection and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Identify and report equipment faults or safety hazards
- Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and stored properly
Learning and Development
- Actively learn about electrical systems, tools, and industry best practices
- Participate in training sessions and development programs
- Gain practical experience to build a career in electrical or technical fields
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification is advantageous
Experience
- Previous experience in site builds, construction, or electrical assistance is preferred
- Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
Skills and Competencies
- Basic understanding of electrical principles (AC and DC systems)
