Auto Industrial Foundry, a division within the Auto Industrial Group, is offering exciting Apprenticeship Opportunities for 2026. These apprenticeship positions are designed for young, ambitious, and technically minded individuals who want to build a long-term career in the engineering and manufacturing industry.
This programme provides structured workplace training combined with practical exposure in a foundry and industrial environment. Successful candidates will receive hands-on experience under the supervision of qualified artisans while working toward becoming certified trade professionals.
Available Apprenticeship Trades
Electrician Apprentices (2 Positions Available)
The Electrician Apprenticeship is suitable for candidates interested in electrical systems, industrial installations, maintenance, and fault finding within a manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirement:
• N3 Certificate
Compulsory Subjects:
• Mathematics
• Engineering Drawing
• Engineering Science
• Industrial Electronics
Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety standards, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Fitter Apprentices (2 Positions Available)
The Fitter Apprenticeship is ideal for individuals interested in mechanical systems, fitting, assembling, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.
Minimum Requirement:
• N3 Certificate
Compulsory Subjects:
• Mathematics
• Engineering Drawing
• Engineering Science
• Fitting and Machining
Applicants should have a solid understanding of mechanical components, technical drawings, and workshop practices.
General Qualifications and Experience Required
• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• N3 qualification relevant to the trade applied for
• Ability to pass the company’s entry-level assessment test
• Strong interest in becoming a qualified artisan
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong work ethic, discipline, and willingness to learn
Only applicants who meet the minimum academic and subject requirements will be considered for the apprenticeship programme. These positions are available immediately.
