AMJ Electrical is looking for a hands-on, reliable Millwright Assistant to support qualified Millwrights with installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work on electrical and mechanical equipment within industrial and switchgear environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment
• Support installation and commissioning of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and panels
• Assist with basic fault finding under supervision
• Conduct inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to safety standards
• Assist during breakdowns and shutdowns
• Follow job cards, instructions, and site procedures accurately
Minimum Requirements
• N2-N3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience assisting a Millwright or working in an industrial environment
• Basic understanding of motors, bearings, gearboxes, and electrical panels
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Physically fit and willing to work overtime or standby when required
