Job Overview
Eskom is inviting applications for three (3) Artisan Fitter positions at Matimba Power Station within the Maintenance (Outside Plant) Department. The role focuses on the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable power generation operations.
This opportunity is open to both internal and external candidates who hold a recognized Trade Test certificate and have completed the required practical training.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical plant equipment
• Carry out maintenance activities in line with plant safety regulations and maintenance plans
• Ensure equipment care and adherence to personal safety standards
• Attend operational and maintenance meetings
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
