A well-established company in Pretoria is seeking a Semi-Skilled Boilermaker to install, repair, and maintain boilers. The successful candidate will be responsible for metal fabrication, interpreting drawings, and performing minor welding repairs while ensuring compliance with safety and SHE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Duties
• Marking off materials accurately
• Bending and rolling of plates
• Reading and building from technical drawings
• Preparing materials according to drawings
• Developing cones and hoppers
• Diagnosing and repairing minor welding defects
• Operating bending machines, rollers, guillotines, and cutting torches
Core Work Outputs
• Perform work correctly as directed
• Conduct job-related risk assessments
• Wear required PPE at all times
• Ensure proper access control within the workplace
• Attend daily shift change and safety meetings
• Comply with SHE policies and procedures
• Maintain stock levels for job completion
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and safe
• Communicate maintenance activities with Foreman and Supervisor

Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 / N3 qualification
• Trade qualification: Boilermaker or Welder
