Eskom is recruiting an Artisan Electrical Heavy Current for its Small Hydro Power Stations in the Eastern Cape under the Peaking Operating Unit (Generation). This permanent role focuses on the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment within a power generation environment.
Position: Artisan Electrical Heavy Current (X1)
Task Grade: T09
Area of Specialisation: Maintenance and repair of electrical equipment
Business Unit: Peaking Operating Unit
Location: Ncora Small Hydro Stations, Eastern Cape
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance according to approved guidelines
• Ensure proper equipment care and strict adherence to personal safety standards
• Conduct occupational health and safety inspections
• Attend meetings and participate in operational discussions
