Job Overview
Clover is currently recruiting Artisan Assistants to join its Production team at the Clayville branch. The successful candidates will support Millwrights by performing semi-skilled maintenance tasks, assisting with preventative and corrective maintenance, and contributing to efficient plant operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have completed their Millwright theoretical training and are looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 / National Certificate (NQF Level 4)
• Completed Millwright theoretical modules (practical outstanding)
• Fluent in Business English
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Experience interacting with senior management will be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide operational support to qualified Artisans
• Assist Millwrights during shifts and breakdowns
• Participate in a 6-day shift cycle
• Prepare equipment and work areas for repairs
• Clean and maintain equipment after repairs
• Perform general maintenance tasks
• Assist with planned maintenance during plant shutdowns
• Safely move and handle heavy equipment
