Qualified Electrician – Facilities Management & Maintenance

Tsebo Facilities Solutions is inviting qualified and experienced Electricians to join its Talent Pool in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This opportunity is ideal for skilled electrical professionals seeking future placement within a leading Facilities Management and Engineering Services company.

The successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems across multiple client sites, while maintaining compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and Tsebo safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, fault finding, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Ensure full compliance with the OHS Act, electrical regulations, and Tsebo SHEQ standards

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and asset registers

• Manage and maintain electrical tools, equipment, and materials

• Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and contractors to meet operational requirements

• Respond promptly to client requests and breakdowns, ensuring high service levels

• Deliver professional customer service across all client-facing interactions

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and materials in facilities environments

• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments

• Understanding of commercial building layouts, electrical infrastructure, and compliance standards

• Excellent time management, planning, and supplier coordination skills

• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities

• Clear communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Matric (Grade 12)

• NQF Level 4 Electrical / Technical Qualification

• Minimum 5 years’ proven electrical maintenance experience in facilities management, commercial, or industrial environments

• Solid understanding of electrical maintenance procedures, fault finding, and compliance requirements
