Redpath South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Millwright to join its underground operations at Mogalakwena Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting trackless mobile machinery (TMM) to ensure maximum equipment availability, safety, and performance.
This role is suited to a seasoned artisan with strong mechanical and electrical expertise, particularly on underground trackless equipment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct inspections in compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act, company standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections on underground TMM equipment
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Maintain equipment availability and utilisation to the highest operational standards
• Ensure condition monitoring, scheduled servicing, and planned maintenance are executed effectively
• Promote and uphold safety leadership within the underground environment
