Job Overview
TWK Agri is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join the Trade Division at Standerton Mechanisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural diesel machinery, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair agricultural diesel equipment
• Reassemble machinery after repairs, perform tests, and make necessary adjustments
• Examine equipment, read inspection reports, and communicate with customers to locate faults
• Test and replace electrical components and wiring using meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools
• Repair or replace defective parts using welding equipment, grinders, saws, and hand tools
• Inspect and test components to determine the cause of malfunctions
• Recommend improvements for products or components based on observations
• Maintain test equipment and perform routine adjustments or minor repairs
• Complete all documentation, including worksheets, certificates, and receipts
• Inspect equipment for safety prior to use and perform basic maintenance tasks
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
• Matric / Grade 12
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Computer literacy
• Experience with agricultural machinery
• Knowledge of New Holland tractors is advantageous
