Job Overview

VKB Retail in Harrismith is looking for a Cashier to join its retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cash and card transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accurate daily retail operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking entry-level retail jobs within the agricultural industry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Process paypoint and retail sales accurately

• Deliver professional and friendly customer service

• Handle cash, card transactions, and receipts

• Perform back-office administration and daily cash-ups

• Allocate customer receipts correctly

• Conduct daily banking of cash and cheques

• Ensure compliance with VKB retail procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification

• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office

• Previous cashier or retail experience will be an advantage

• Ability to handle conflict and customer queries

• Good numerical skills and attention to detail

• Fast, energetic, and reliable
