Key Responsibilities

As an HVAC Assistant, you will:

• Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements on all sites.

• Assist technicians with repairs, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC systems.

• Provide installation support for heating, cooling, and ventilation units.

• Maintain equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance tasks.

• Prepare sites for work and assist in general housekeeping duties.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist with troubleshooting and inspections under supervision.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• 1–2 years’ experience within an HVAC or technical maintenance environment (advantageous but not essential).

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric (Mandatory).

• Valid Driver’s Licence (Preferred but not required).

• N1 – N4 Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Advantageous).

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC tools, and components.

• Ability to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Eagerness to learn and apply new technical knowledge.
