About the Eskom Learner Artisan Programme
The Eskom Artisan Learnership 2025 provides structured training in Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics trades, combining classroom instruction with practical exposure at Eskom’s facilities.
This programme aims to develop future-ready technicians and artisans capable of maintaining and improving South Africa’s electricity infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in structured, institutional, and on-site artisan training.
• Follow Eskom’s operational and safety standards during training.
• Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn technical processes.
• Assist qualified artisans in performing maintenance and repair work.
Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify for the Eskom Learner Artisan Internship 2025, applicants must meet the following:
Education:
• National N6 Certificate with trade subjects in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics, OR
• National N4/N5 Certificate with trade subjects, OR
• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics (50%), Physical Science (50%), and English (40%), OR
• N3 Certificate with Maths 50%, Science 50%, and English 40%, OR
• NCV Level 4 Certificate with Maths 50%, Science 50%, and English 40%.
Other Requirements:
• Must be a South African Citizen.
