Overview
Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity utility, is inviting passionate and hardworking individuals to apply for the Eskom Learner Intern Plumber Apprentice 2025 programme. This opportunity is based at Medupi Power Station in Lephalale, offering practical, hands-on training in plumbing and civil construction.
Successful candidates will sign a two-year apprenticeship contract and receive a monthly stipend as per Eskom’s company policies. The programme aims to equip learners with the technical skills needed to build a successful career in South Africa’s energy and construction industries.
Key Responsibilities
As a Plumber Apprentice at Eskom, your role will include:
• Performing daily duties in line with your training programme and apprenticeship schedule.
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement in your department.
• Ensuring full compliance with Section 14 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
• Applying strong problem-solving and teamwork skills to achieve operational goals.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify for the Eskom Plumbing Apprenticeship 2025, applicants must have:
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• N2 Certificate in Plumbing or Civils.
