What You’ll Be Doing
• Greet and assist customers as soon as they enter the store.
• Promote sales and suggest products that customers may like.
• Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure products are well displayed.
• Manage stock – receive, organise, and restock shelves.
• Help reduce stock losses by following store policies and security measures.
• Stay informed about promotions, deals, and new product arrivals.
• Work with your team to hit sales targets and deliver great service.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you’ll need:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Experience in any of the following: cashier, retail sales, general assistant, or store assistant.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Must live within 15km of Boksburg.
• Clear criminal record
Preferred Skills & Qualities
These are not must-haves, but they’ll give you an advantage:
• South African citizenship
• Basic computer skills
• Passion for retail and customer service
• Age between 28 and 38 years
