About the Role

Eskom’s Generation Division is offering 20 Learner Plant Operator opportunities at Lethabo Power Station in Deneysville, Free State. This learnership provides institutional and on-the-job training to prepare successful candidates for a career in the Operating Department of one of South Africa’s leading power utilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about the energy sector and eager to gain valuable hands-on experience.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications (one of the following):

• Grade 12 with:

• Mathematics (50%)

• Physical Science (50%)

• English (40%)

• OR N3 with:

• Mathematics (50%)

• Science (50%)

• English (40%)

• OR NCV Level 4 with:

• Mathematics (50%)

• Science (50%)

• English (40%)

• OR National N4/N5/N6 Certificate with trade subjects

• OR National Diploma / BTech / BEng / BSc Eng

Other Requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen

• Willingness to participate in Eskom’s recruitment and training process

• Successful applicants will be placed in Eskom Operations across different divisions
