Job Overview
Kia South Africa is looking for an Apprentice to join the Kia Fourways branch. The successful candidate will provide technical and diagnostic services, working under supervision to deliver accurate, timeous repairs and services in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
This apprenticeship offers training, mentorship, and career development opportunities for motivated individuals looking to grow in the automotive industry.
Specific Role Responsibilities
• Identify and apply solutions to operational problems; escalate unresolved issues when necessary
• Deliver on performance targets according to procedures and service-level agreements
• Report on daily activities to provide accurate information for decision-making
• Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and quality processes
• Execute tasks efficiently to prevent financial and operational losses
• Deliver services that satisfy both internal and external customers
• Attend training programmes to enhance technical skills and job performance
• Support senior technicians while gaining hands-on experience
• Complete training interventions and logbook activities as per apprenticeship requirements
Qualifications & Experience
• National Senior Certificate (Matric) with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
• Higher Certificate and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificate – NQF Level 4
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar environment (advantageous)
• Valid South African driver’s license
