2025 Learnership Opportunities – Engineering Trades

Mahlopi Metals is offering Artisan Learnerships (18.2) in the following trades:

• Boilermaker

• Electrician

• Fitter

• Diesel Mechanic

• Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for these learnerships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• N2 Certificate including four relevant subjects (Mathematics, Engineering Science, and applicable Trade Theory)

• Grade 12 or Technical Grade 12 with Maths, Science, Language, and relevant technical subjects

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

• Must be medically fit for work in a mining environment

Advantageous Qualifications

While not required, the following will be beneficial:

• N3 / N4 / N5 / N6 in Engineering Studies

• Documented proof of at least 6 months’ practical experience in an engineering-related field
