Applications are invited for the position of Apprentice – Heavy Equipment Mechanic from suitably qualified and interested candidates. However, permanent team members will be given preference.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have one of the following:
• Grade 12 with the following subjects:
• Mathematics (Core)
• Physical Science
• Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD)
• Mechanical Technology
OR
• N2 Certificate with four subjects:
• Mathematics
• Engineering Science
• Diesel/Motor Trade Theory
• Engineering Drawing / Industrial Electronics
OR
• National Vocational Certificate (NCV) Level 4 in Engineering Related Design (ERD) with seven subjects in Automotive
Additional Requirements:
• Must pass a Technical Assessment (including Numeracy & Literacy)
• Must be in good physical health (a medical examination will be conducted)
• Must have a valid Code EB (08) driver’s licence
• Must reside within a 50km radius of the Bell Customer Service Centre
Added Advantages:
• Previous working experience in the engineering industry
• Completed basic hand skills training
• In possession of a valid passport
