About the Role
Pick n Pay is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of staff and customers while enforcing company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
• Security qualification with at least 2 years of retail industry experience
• Registered with SIRA/SOB with Grade C registration
• Own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure security procedures are followed by staff and customers
• Provide professional customer service while enforcing security protocols
• Evaluate security systems and recommend improvements
• Liaise with senior management, security organizations, and SAPS
• Respond to security threats and take appropriate action
• Protect company assets and maintain high awareness levels
• Handle difficult customers and maintain order in challenging situations
• Assist with alarm call-outs when necessary
• Follow correct emergency response procedures
