Our Maintenance Packing Business Unit is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our Millwright Apprenticeship Programme 2025. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and world-class training in one of South Africa’s leading FMCG companies.
As a Millwright Apprentice, you will undergo a structured training programme that combines both theoretical and practical learning. Successful candidates will be enrolled in a formal apprenticeship programme, aligned with the FoodBev SETA standards, to help you qualify as a Red Seal Trade Tested Millwright.
Key Performance Areas:
• Participate in on-the-job training under the supervision of qualified Millwrights and engineering professionals.
• Attend theoretical training sessions at accredited training institutions.
• Assist in maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate training logs and assessments as per SETA requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
• A Technical Grade 12 or N3 Certificate with Electrical or Mechanical subjects.
• Strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems and a career in the FMCG sector.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, work hard, and take initiative.
• South African citizen with a passion for engineering and technical trades.
