Electrical Apprenticeship Programme – 2025 Intake

The City of Cape Town is offering a valuable Apprenticeship opportunity in Electricity Generation and Distribution for 2025. Minimum Requirements:
• A minimum of NTC 3 technical qualification (Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics), or
• Technical Matric (Grade 12 with English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Physical Science), or
• Full NCV Level 4 Electrical (7 subjects)
• A strong passion for the electrical field and engineering
• Must reside in the City of Cape Town metropolitan area
• A valid driver’s license (preferably Code C1 / old Code 10) is recommended
• Applicants must not be qualified in any trade by the time the programme begins
• Candidates must not hold a National Diploma or higher qualification
