About Valterra Platinum

Valterra Platinum, formerly Anglo American Platinum, is a leading primary producer of platinum group metals (PGMs), with integrated mining, smelting and refining operations in South Africa and Zimbabwe. The company markets the metals it produces to customers across global markets.

Following its demerger from Anglo American plc, Valterra Platinum is now an independent, publicly listed company, with a primary listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange.

As Valterra Platinum begins this new chapter, the company is focused on defining and delivering its own strategy, underpinned by operational excellence, sustainability and long-term value creation.

With full accountability for its performance and growth, Valterra Platinum continues to strengthen its capabilities across the PGM value chain – from mining and processing through to smelting, refining and market.

The company’s independence provides an opportunity to deepen its commitment to employees, communities and other stakeholders while continuing to operate with purpose: to Unearth Value to Better Our World.

Valterra Platinum remains committed to its ambition of being a leading producer of platinum group metals while placing safety, sustainability, people development and responsible operations at the centre of its business.
