• Science: 50%
• English: 40%

Candidates may also qualify with an NCV Level 4 qualification in Boilermaking, together with the following minimum subject marks:

• Mathematics: 50%
• Science: 50%
• English: 40%

In addition to the academic requirements, applicants must be South African citizens.
