Eskom Learner Plant Operator x7 – Kendal Power Station 2026

The programme provides an opportunity to gain practical workplace exposure within Eskom Operations and develop knowledge and skills relevant to plant operations.

Applicants who meet the minimum requirements will go through Eskom’s recruitment process. Successful candidates may be placed in Eskom Operations across different divisions.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be South African citizens and meet at least one of the listed qualification routes.

Grade 12 / Matric

Applicants with Grade 12 must have achieved:

• Mathematics: 50%
• Physical Science: 50%
• English: 40%

N3 Certificate

Applicants with an N3 qualification must have:

• Mathematics: 50%
• Science: 50%
• English: 40%

NCV Level 4

Applicants with NCV Level 4 must have:

• Mathematics: 50%
• Science: 50%
• English: 40%

National N4/N5 Certificate

Applicants with a National N4 or N5 Certificate with trade subjects may also apply.

National N6 Certificate

Applicants with a National N6 Certificate with trade subjects may also be considered.
