Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Educational Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
- Physical Science
- English
- Minimum 40% in all required subjects
AND
One of the following:
- N2 Certificate or higher in the relevant engineering trade
- NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade with all subjects passed (minimum 40%)
Trade-Specific Subjects
Applicants must have completed the required N2 trade subjects relevant to their chosen discipline, including:
- Electrical Trade Theory
- Industrial Electronics
- Fitting Trade Theory
- Diesel or Motor Trade Theory
- Engineering Drawings
- Instrument Trade Theory
- Rigger Trade Theory
- Welding Theory
- Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings
