What You’ll Do
As a Millwright Apprentice, you will:
- Complete a structured 3-year apprenticeship programme.
- Attend accredited technical and engineering training.
- Gain practical workplace experience under qualified Millwright Artisans.
- Learn to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Work with industrial machinery and manufacturing systems.
- Apply classroom knowledge in a real production environment.
- Work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- N2 Engineering qualification with the following trade subjects:
- Engineering Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Mechanical
- Mechanical & Electrical Drawings
- Electrical subject (advantageous).
- Matric (Grade 12).
- N3 qualification (preferred).
- Some relevant engineering or technical work experience.
