Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Fluent in Business English (spoken and written)
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel advantageous)
- Willingness to travel and work off-site when required
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces
- Experience working with senior management (advantageous but not essential)
Key Responsibilities
Support to Artisans
- Assist artisans with daily maintenance and repair tasks
- Prepare tools, materials, and equipment before repair work begins
- Clean and store equipment after repairs to maintain safety and efficiency
- Support fault identification and troubleshooting processes
- Move and handle heavy machinery and equipment safely
Technical and Maintenance Duties
- Perform semi-skilled work including carpentry, bricklaying, painting, and welding
- Carry out basic repairs to buildings, offices, and infrastructure
- Clean and maintain cooling towers and operational areas
- Conduct routine inspections to identify faults or maintenance needs
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
