Job Overview
Eskom is recruiting three Engineering Assistants for HV Plant to support high voltage plant operations within the Southern Grid. The role focuses on providing safe, organised, and planned first-line maintenance services on high voltage equipment and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operating services to high voltage (HV) plant
  • Execute maintenance tasks on HV equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and fault identification
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies
  • Provide mentoring and coaching within the team
  • Maintain accurate documentation and configuration records
  • Monitor non-outage related activities and plant conditions
