CPD Academy, in strategic partnership with Reinhardt Transport Group and the Department of Community Safety, Roads and Transport in the Free State Province, is pleased to announce a Truck Driver Learnership Programme for unemployed South Africans.
This Occupational Certificate: Truck Driver Learnership forms part of a broader skills development initiative aimed at empowering unemployed youth and adults with the necessary training and practical experience required in the transport and logistics industry.
The programme focuses on developing professional truck drivers who will contribute to road safety, economic growth, and the strengthening of the freight and logistics sector in South Africa, particularly within the Free State Province. Successful applicants will gain valuable industry exposure and practical training that can open doors to employment opportunities in the transport sector.
Truck driving remains one of the most in-demand careers in the logistics and transport industry, making this learnership a great opportunity for individuals who already have a Code 14 license and want to build a long-term career as a professional truck driver.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Grade 10, Grade 11, or Grade 12 School Certificate
• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with PrDP
• Must be between 25 and 35 years old
• Clean criminal record
• Must be fluent in English
• Must provide Proof of Bank Account
• Proof of Residential Address
• Must be registered with SARS
• Must be medically fit to perform duties of a truck driver
