About the Amcor Apprenticeship Programme
Amcor Astrapak is offering an exciting Apprenticeship / Internship Programme for unemployed South African youth who are ambitious, driven, and interested in building a long-term career in engineering and manufacturing.
This 3-year apprenticeship programme provides structured workplace experience in the maintenance department, combined with technical theory training (TT blocks) at a selected Technical College.
Upon successful completion, candidates will qualify for a Trade Test and become a qualified Artisan.

Training Location: Plastop KZN (Prospection)
Programme Duration
• 3 Years
• Includes on-the-job training and institutional learning
• Leads to a nationally recognised Millwright Trade Test
Minimum Requirements
• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Mathematics (Core)
• Physical Science
• Minimum N2 qualification in relevant Engineering Studies
Who Should Apply
• Unemployed South African youth
• Candidates who have not previously participated in any work-related learnership, internship, or apprenticeship
• Applicants must not be permanently employed
