Job Overview
VKB Retail in Petrus Steyn is seeking a General Worker to assist with daily store and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will perform general duties that require minimal induction, including loading and offloading stock, cleaning, housekeeping, and customer support.
This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in retail, agriculture, or general labour positions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with loading and offloading of stock in line with company procedures
• Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the premises
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Assist customers and suppliers when required
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
• Support basic stock control activities
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
• Ability to perform hard manual labour
• Willingness to assist with stock handling and cleaning duties
• Strong work ethic and commitment to adding value
• Good physical health
