An exciting opportunity has opened for a Semi-Skilled Artisan (Electrical) to join our team in the North West region. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and repairing grain handling equipment within our storage facilities. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, safety-focused, and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Training
• Currently studying towards a qualified trade as an Artisan (Electrical or Millwright).
• A valid driver’s licence.
Work Experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance environment.
• Prior experience in a grain handling facility will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on silo machines and equipment.
• Ensure strict safety control and compliance with site procedures.
• Maintain effective asset control and record-keeping.
• Foster positive employee relations and teamwork.
Technical Skills & Competencies
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act quickly in crisis situations and deliver results under pressure.
