Key Responsibilities
As an Artisan Welder at Eskom, you will:
• Perform all welding tasks as required for production and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and Eskom procedures.
• Work on structural welding, fabrication, and repair projects.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship in line with engineering and construction requirements.
• Support the production team with technical welding expertise.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
• Completed Welding Trade Test.
• OR equivalent Welder qualification registered and recognised by the Government of South Africa.
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification welding experience in a relevant environment.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Arc).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Teamwork and communication abilities.
