Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Assistant in Randfontein, you will be required to:
• Assist Foreman, Artisans, Semi-Skilled Artisans, Storeman, or other Engineering staff with daily tasks
• Clean workshop, stores, and machines to ensure smooth operations
• Perform prescribed departmental tasks as required
• Operate a hyster (forklift) to support maintenance functions (if licensed/qualified)
• Actively participate in BBS (Behaviour-Based Safety) programmes and 20 Keys initiatives
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 / Standard 10 (essential)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Engineering Assistant or in a similar maintenance role
• Experience in a feed milling environment (advantageous)
• Willingness to work overtime as required
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and proactive team player
