Harmony Gold is offering exciting Learnership opportunities at Masimong Mine for motivated individuals who want to build a career in the mining and engineering sector. These structured programmes combine theoretical training with hands-on practical experience, preparing learners to become qualified artisans.
Available Learnerships
• Fitter Learnership
• Boilermaker Learnership
• Service Person/Electro Mechanic Level 2 Learnership
• Winding Engine Driver Learnership
• Instrumentation Leanership
Minimum Requirements, Experience and Knowledge
• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science (minimum 50%) OR N2 with 4 relevant trade subjects
• NCV (Vocational) Level 4 with Mathematics (50%+) (Maths Literacy is not accepted)
• Previous experience as an Engineering Assistant in a mining environment (advantageous)
• Relevant Engineering discipline or trade
• Must be medically fit
• Must undergo and pass a Psychometric Assessment
Other Requirements
• Medical Certificate of Fitness
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written
Internal candidates must complete the internal job application form with HR (with signatures from HOD). If not attached, applications will not be considered.
Advantageous
• 2 years’ experience in the mining industry (Advantageous)
• Previous engineering assistant background

• Participate in a structured learnership programme with both theoretical and practical training
• Successfully achieve all outcomes set by the MQA and DMR requirements

• Follow training schedules, shifts, and plant requirements to gain the necessary experience
• Represent Harmony Gold as a professional ambassador by adhering to the code of conduct
