Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to render building and maintenance services for the municipality. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction and maintenance work is carried out effectively to meet the objectives of the Greater Tzaneen Municipality.
Key Performance Areas
As a Senior Artisan Assistant, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring daily work is completed efficiently and meets municipal standards.
• Maintaining and constructing municipal buildings to ensure quality and safety.
• Overseeing the cleaning of road camps and surrounding areas of workshops.
• Supporting the overall goals and objectives of the municipality’s engineering department.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 10 (NQF Level 2) qualification.
• At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in building, construction, or maintenance.
