Key Responsibilities
As an HVAC Assistant, you will:
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements at all times.
• Support repairs and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Assist with installation of HVAC equipment and components.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and parts for operational efficiency.
• Prepare work areas and assist with general site setup.
• Collaborate effectively with technicians and supervisors.
• Assist with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment (housekeeping).
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the HVAC environment (beneficial, but not mandatory).
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 / Matric – Mandatory.
• Valid driver’s licence – Preferred, but not essential.
• N1 – N4 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and HVAC components.
• Ability to assist in troubleshooting and minor repairs under supervision.
• Willingness to actively learn HVAC system functions and components.
