Job Summary

Rand Water is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join its team as an Artisan Assistant Civil. The successful candidate will assist the Carpenter with daily tasks at the depot and in the surrounding districts.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or N3 qualification

• Basic knowledge of carpentry

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar working environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs

• Conduct general maintenance tasks

• Ensure the workshop is clean and organized

• Assist the artisan or carpenter in producing high-quality work

Required Knowledge

• Understanding of safety procedures

• Good communication skills

• Familiarity with carpentry tools, spares, and machinery

• Knowledge of workshop housekeeping standards

• Ability to work well in a team environment and motivate others
