Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 / National Certificate (NQF Level 4 or equivalent)

• Language: Fluent in Business English

• Driver’s License: Code 10

• Travel: Willingness to travel off-site or stay overnight when required

• Working Conditions:

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Comfortable working in confined spaces

• Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy

• Experience: Experience working with senior management is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Assist Artisans with repairs and maintenance tasks

• Prepare tools and equipment for maintenance and repair activities

• Clean equipment post-repair

• Move heavy machinery and tools safely

• Perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks such as:

• Carpentry

• Bricklaying

• Painting

• Welding

• Basic office repairs

• Clean and maintain cooling towers

• Support disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of electromechanical devices

• Assist with installation and maintenance of:

• Lighting fixtures

• Socket outlets

• Air conditioning systems (HVAC)

• Conduct basic inspections to support preventative maintenance
