Job Purpose
To provide support to operational team members by executing duties and instructions received from the immediate supervisor, in order to meet project deadlines. Duties are performed only on non-energised electrical distribution networks.
Appointment Requirements:
• Basic literacy
• Relevant experience in a local authority electrical network environment (advantageous)
• Physically fit and in good health
• Willing and able to work shifts
• Must undergo a criminal record check
• Must allow fingerprinting by the Tshwane Metro Police Department (at own cost)

Primary Functions:
• Execute instructions received from the supervisor to perform tasks related to the electrical distribution network, ensuring safe and reliable service delivery
• Carry out duties as instructed on projects to meet target deadlines
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure continuous, safe operations
• Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993)
• Participate in task rotation between various operational teams to enhance multiskilling
