Position: Artisan Assistant Boilermaker
Reference Number: MRCIVP-71/25
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Artisan Assistant Boilermaker to support our project development team.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
• Engineering-related qualifications (advantageous)
• Basic rigging certification
• Proficient in English (written and verbal communication)
Required Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a mining environment
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and operational standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in flame cutting, welding, and machine drilling activities according to procedures
• Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment (under 3 tons only)
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
• Support in tool inspection schedules (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Uphold self-management and professionalism in line with M&RC’s core values
