We are seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to handle repairs and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment both in workshops and on customer sites. This role requires expertise in auto-electrical systems, quick problem-solving, and a professional approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform auto-electrical repairs and maintenance on earthmoving machinery
• Remove and install electrical components efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
• Maintain a professional image when working on customer sites
• Respond quickly to customer breakdowns and provide effective solutions
• Compile detailed service reports with accuracy
• Take ownership of self-management and performance
• Maintain field service vehicle and equipment
• Handle administrative tasks like labour booking, service reports, and expenses
• Implement contamination control measures
Requirements:
• Qualified Auto Electrician with relevant trade certification
• Hands-on experience with earthmoving machinery
• Strong technical knowledge of auto-electrical components
• Understanding of applicable products and systems
• Valid Code B driver’s license
