The Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative is a transformative, business-driven programme designed to create economic pathways for South African youth, addressing the country’s high unemployment rate.

In partnership with government and labour departments, YES offers young individuals the chance to gain 12 months of on-the-job training in the retail industry. This programme equips participants with valuable skills, providing exposure to various facets of the retail business, including sales, customer service, and management.

Upon successful completion, YES learners are prepared to either enter the retail workforce or start their own retail businesses.
