Unica Iron and Steel is offering an exciting apprenticeship programme for 2025, aimed at unemployed youth who are eager to start a career in the engineering and manufacturing industry. This skills development opportunity provides hands-on experience and professional training in various technical fields.
Available Apprenticeship Positions:
• Electrical Engineering Apprentice
• Millwright Apprentice
• Fitting and Turning Apprentice
• Boilermaking/Welding Apprentice
• Instrumentation Apprentice
• Plumbing Apprentice
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
• N2 and/or N3 Certificate in the relevant trade (e.g., N2/N3 Electrical Engineering for Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship) or an equivalent qualification.
Required Documentation:
• Certified copy of South African ID
• Updated CV with educational background and any relevant practical experience
• Proof of residence (utility bill, bank statement, or official document)
Other Considerations:
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to successfully completing the apprenticeship program
