Job Description

  • Assist Maintenance Artisan in all activities related to plant maintenance
  • Assist Maintenance Artisan in conducting pre-task Risk analysis
  • Prepare and clean work areas prior to task execution and ensure that work areas are kept tidy at all times to facilitate a safe working environment
  • Carry tools and equipment to assist the
  • Maintenance Artisan execute various tasks
  • Keep all hand tools in neat condition with particular emphasis on power tools
  • Perform basic welding tasks – stick and TIG
    Strive towards Zero harm

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric
    Technical qualification N4 or equivalent
  • Working toward obtaining a Fitter Trade Test Certificate
  • 1 – years’ experience in chemical plant maintenance
