If you meet the eligibility requirements and are looking for an opportunity to begin a career as a qualified artisan, this apprenticeship could be the ideal pathway.

About the Apprenticeship

The Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship is a three-year programme that combines classroom-based learning with practical workplace experience. Learners will work towards obtaining the Occupational Certificate: Diesel Mechanic (NQF Level 4) while receiving structured training that aligns with industry standards.

Throughout the programme, participants will gain practical exposure that complements the theoretical component of their training. This approach allows learners to apply what they learn in real working environments while developing the technical competencies expected of qualified diesel mechanics.

The apprenticeship is intended for unemployed South African youth who are eager to build technical skills and gain recognised occupational training.
