Valterra Platinum is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for the Electrician Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2). This programme provides an opportunity to gain hands-on technical training and workplace experience in the mining and engineering industry.
Learnership Opportunity
Learnership Electrician (x1 Position)
This programme is designed for individuals who want to build a career as a qualified artisan in the electrical trade.
What the Learnership Offers

• Successful completion leads to a Nationally Recognised Artisan Qualification
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Option 1: Matric Qualification
• Matric / Grade 12
• Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy) – minimum 40%
• Physical Science – minimum 40%
• English – minimum 40%
OR
Option 2: N2 Qualification or Higher
Relevant subjects for Electrical trade including:
• Electrical Trade Theory
• Electrotechnology / Electrotechnics
• Industrial Electronics
• Engineering Drawings
OR
Option 3: NCV Qualification
• NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade
• All subjects passed with a minimum of 40%
