Job Overview
We are currently recruiting Assistant General Workers in Gauteng to provide essential general site support and operational assistance. This role is ideal for hardworking individuals with basic site experience who are willing to learn, follow safety procedures, and support daily operational activities across various work areas.
The successful candidates will work closely with site teams to ensure smooth operations, maintain safety standards, and assist with general labour duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant General Worker will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
• Working collaboratively with site teams to support operational targets and daily objectives
• Assisting with routine inspections within designated work areas and reporting hazards, faults, or deviations
• Supporting pipeline and valve operations under supervision
• Assisting with identifying and resolving basic operational challenges and escalating issues when required
• Performing general site duties as assigned to support overall operations
• Carrying out basic housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Executing all tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Adhering strictly to all health, safety, environmental, and company regulations at all times
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
Experience
• At least one (1) year of relevant general work or site experience

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong listening and instruction-following skills
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset
General Conditions
